Preview works very strange, after refresh for each click.
http://joomla.cmsbg.info/downloads/cate ... joomla-1-6
Click Preview, Esc, F5 (Refresh), Click again
Doesn't matter if the image is 50kb or 500kb.

Re: Previw feature in 2.0.0 RC2
Hi, first update the template to latest (so no menumatic error is comming if it is not loaded).
Second, it is the same problem like the modal box in Joomla! administration.
This is a problem I discovered with this combination (Joomla! mootools (maybe modal box only) + Firefox):
Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Could not convert JavaScript argument arg 0 [nsIDOM3Node.compareDocumentPosition]" nsresult: "0x80570009 (NS_ERROR_XPC_BAD_CONVERT_JS)" location: "JS frame :: http://joomla.cmsbg.info/media/system/j ... ls-core.js :: <TOP_LEVEL> :: line 1" data: no]
I think this is more question on Joomla! core developers or directly to mootools (maybe not, as the mootools used in Joomla! is customized for Joomla!)
In worst case (if this will be not fixed in Joomla!) you can set the preview with standard popup window

Re: Previw feature in 2.0.0 RC2
Why u not put Highslide like in Phoca Gallery, or to use Phoca Gallery some kind of integration for displaying previews and up to 2-3 or unlimited screenshots if someone list Games for example with Phoca Download
Bug appears on all templates, Phoca, Joomla ART, Rockets, Yoo.

Re: Previw feature in 2.0.0 RC2
Another idea, instead of making 2 powerful and feature rich download extension why u not join forces with Arno Betz and to make something perfect
Both are respecting each other, but both do they're solo extension.
In the begining Phoca Download was planed to be small, lightweight download manager, now things changes with the people demands and PDL is no longer lightweight or even small download manager.
Arno jD vs Phoca Download features:
Mirrors - Mirrors
Bug Reports - Bug Reports (a bit useless with this linking to guestbook)
JomComment/JComments - JComments
Rates - Rates
Multi-lingual with JFish - N/A
Play (Audio/Video) option - Play audio
Custom Fields - N/A
Own Templating system - Joomla Templating system (Thumb up for PD)
Custom ACL - Joomla ACL (oh crap if someone can control this ACL he is a damn guru)
Modules for
Lates/Updated/Popular with title linking - n/a for PDL
Plugins for Content publishing - almost the same in PDL
That's in short way.
also all feature requests for PDL are similar for jD.....
Both of u are short of time always, and noticed something strange, Joomla 3rd party developers never join for united project, like in XOOPS or PHP-Fusion communities. Everyone prefers the solo way.
Hikari Team and Hika Shop - Our team is a one man
Phoca Team - one man
Joomla Addons (jDownloads) - one man
Ninja Extensions team - one man
DOCMan and Nooku - one man, listed several inactive, the only one active is the current maintainer of DOCMan.
FlashXML Team - one man
Azrul team before the release of JomSocial 1.0 was one man team too.
Attachments team - one man + several translators, i don't count translators as part of any team,
So by extensions.joomla.org
1st is Attachments
2nd is PDL with 192812 views and 4.71 rate
3rd is jD with 231355 views and 4.66 rate (it's 3rd bcz Arno made a mistake to release few internal betas as public)
Clear the bugs only in PD, drop down all feature request for 2.0.0 of PD and join with Arno, he is working on conversion of 1.8.1 to J 1.6

Re: Previw feature in 2.0.0 RC2
Hi, nice idea, not sure what Arno says but from my experiences, in programming, one makes more than a team. In team you are loosing a lot of time with communication and with waiting
- you need to wait until someone other makes some feature and then you can build your own - because you cannot do it on code which will be changed.
My problem is, that I do the extensions in my freetime (which is not enough) and I have created a lot of free extensions, which means a lot of time to maintance all this (developing for two different versions - 1.5, 1.6, forum posts, etc., etc.)
I by myself not happy about such situation, but really see no solution for this, e.g. on this forum, you can see, a few users are willing to help

And I think, Arno has the same opinion as I have, our extensions are like our kids, who should leave own kid and take care about other kid

In fact the problem is in other place. I or Arno, we don't need any other developer (two developers on one extensions is contraproductive), we need helper to:
- write documentation
- answering posts in the forum,
- etc.
If I will not lose time with all the things which are not related to programming, all the features you are asking will be included in the extension. I think, this will be the same by Arno
