Slimbox and Google Chrome

I'm having problems with the pop-up views. Some work in some browser, but not others. I want to use slimbox primarily, however in google chrome the darkened area overlaps everything, including the image. The image appears underneath the blackened out area.

I.E. and Firefox render the program well, but Chrome, as above, won't.

A guess would be that slimbox needs updating. How do I do this?

(using Joomla 1.5.22 with phoca 2.7.6)

UPDATE:---
Have commented out slimbox css for background, around line 9 or so. However next and previous buttons are virtually inoperable and the image disappears if you click on it.

Again, how do I update slimbox for Phoca?

hmmmmmm. The demo is fine.... hmmmmm. Now I'm lost! As I haven't hacked anything...

Then you need to check all other parts on your site, if there is no conflict (extensions like modules or plugins, and the template)

What I have done is switch to JAK. I need to change the z:index of the menu to make sure it doesn't shine through the JAK popup.

I imagine that the problem with slimbox is similar. I will look thoroughly when I have time.
