{phocadownload view=file|id=1} wrongly links 2 category view

When using the {phocadownload view=file|id=1} parameter via the Phoca Download Plugin the resulting link incorrectly redirects to "/component/phocadownload/category/1-category?download=1%3Afile-alias". It used to prompt a file download now I'm having trouble figuring out where this has gone wrong.
