no thumbnails in admin

Hi,

I am using phocagallery 2.7.2

The gallery component is working fine and have no problems with images showing up and in the front end of the website.
The issue I have is that in the admin section I can’t see any thumbnail of the images.
I usually upload images via “multiple upload” and create a new folder for storing my images. I have thumbnail creation on and it is working as I can see all the images on the front end.

I am not sure what I have done.

Hi, seems like the thumbnails were not created (e.g. because of permissions or other problem, maybe no space on the disc, etc

Hi Jan,

The thumbnails are created as I can link to a category or the images and they are displayed in the front end.

I think i know what the problem is – I deleted the original files and only kept all the thumbnails ie
phoca_thumb_s_img_6521s.jpg
phoca_thumb_m_img_6521s.jpg
phoca_thumb_l_img_6521s.jpg

If that is the issue are there any way to change which images are displayed in the admin section?

If Joomla/Phoca any extension don't have ability to change the file names on the disk, then u will get this. Changes only in the stored records, but no on the FS and result is present - Filename don't exist or is broken.
