DB function failed with error number 2006

Hi, i have problems with re-installing PhocaGallery 2.7.6. (Tried that several times)

Other Components (like Phoca Guestbook) are fine (no issues with installing/upgrading).

Before doing the new installation, i was using 2.6.2 which was corrupted somehow. (Thumbnail creation hang up with blank screen). So i decided to reinstall 2.7.6 from scratch.

Due to some SQL errors with the un-installation, i was removing the SQL Tables with your unistall script.
All tables (jos_phoca....) did not exist anymore. No Entry in the component list - so decided to install it again, with new version 2.7.6.

What went wrong, and how can i fix that?
What needs to be done, for a complete de-installation, if automatic uninstall stops with SQL Error.

Hi, check this "ModulesMySQL server has gone away" in Google or etc. Seems like the database has some problems with making the queries, mostly this is a memory or time issue
