TinyEditor malfunction!

Post by raulmonda »

hi,

Im using Phoca guestbook... and i noticed few malfunctions.
1. the dimensions of the Java Script Editor (TinyMCE) didn't work at all. i have tried few combination width/height. in the front-end i got the same size. this is happening in both cases: on local and on live site. How these can be fixed?
2. on the living site with Java Script Editor turned on i got no editor, but a box (page background color, which is dark grey) and the cursor is black; no tool bar visible. its almost imposible to read the black letters on the dark grey background. I have no option but to turn the editor off (in Parameters) and lose all editor features. how this can be fixed?

I have tried phoca maps as well; works fine. great add-on, keep going!

At the end i MUST pointed out the lack of help in giving the solutions at the topics in forum (i posted another topic about guestbook a while ago and i got no answer), too bad for such great work to make these add-ons.

Hi,

1. you can set only width of the editor in parameters of Phoca Guestook, all others needs to be customized in the code.

2. check your template css to stylize the textarea

Sorry I don't understand: Do you mean, making over 15.000 posts in forum (next 5000 posts in other Joomla! forums) and develop over 100 extensions, making hundred sites of documentation, managing over 300 translations, helping people on their servers, etc. etc., everything in my freetime after regular work, allows to respond all the question in some short time?

 Please let me know somebody other who has done this in freetime for free so then your "at the end" will be not so much offensive :( :(

Please, we all here are running no business in this area, I do free extensions in my freetime to have fun (like other e.g. moderators are answering the posts here). We have no customers and still serve better service as some commercial projects.

Thank you for understanding.

Jan
