Multiple uploads problem

Hi,

I am a newbie in phoca gallery and just have managed to also cope with cooliris in a tested environment. The problem i am having and which i cannot understand how to solve it is when I am trying to do a multiple upload of various images.

The java applet and / the flash window where to upload the photos are giving me an error, either that the java applet has given an error or on the other side an error and that it and i have to close the internet explorer and start over again.

Is there a way to solve this problem or is it just i am doing something wrong or need to make some changes

Hi,

first you should use some standard browser to admin Joomla! like Firefox, Chrome, Seamonkey or Opera is.

The following methods for uploading can be used to upload images to Phoca Gallery (with some limitation by some methods)

- single upload
- ftp upload
- java upload (the java applet can have some problems on some servers or browsers - try to search this forum)
- flash upload (it works only if you have flash version 9, in latest releases there is a security issue and the Joomla! flash uploader does not work)

Because of limitations of java upload or flash upload, in Phoca Gallery (version 3.0.0 - Joomla! 1.6) plupload multiple upload feature was added:
