Last time the problem was raised was in 2008, is there any new solution for that ?
When mod_rewriting is activated the lytebox of phocagallery doesn't work and I've noticed the url are completely modified wheither rewritting is being turn on or off.
Without mod_rewriting
....index.php?option=com_phocagallery&view=detail&catid=2:book&id=66:vdc65727460&tmpl=component&detail=0&buttons=1
Lytebox works perfectly
with mod_rewriting
....component/phocagallery/2-book/detail/66-vdc65727460?tmpl=component&detail=0&buttons=1
show 404 erreur having displayed the lytebox.
here is the original website, mod_rewritting being turned off

Re: Problem SEO mod_rewriting
Now this is a tough one.
I believe I've done everything right but it is still not looking quite like I want.
Here is what I did (according to the link you gave me https://www.phoca.cz/documents/16-joomla ... -in-joomla)
1. Create new menu group called "Hidden_menu"
2. Create menu link to Phoca Gallery component in this menu
3. Create a menu group "Hidden_module" in the module manager
4. Unpublish this module
This technic works fine in a module
http://tiny.cc/synjj
BUT
- the button controllers are half hidden at the bottom of the lytebox,

- in an article the SEF still refuses to operate, now I'm wondering if it is possible to have phocagallery plugin and module in use on my website and still have SEF links for phocagalleries integrated into artiles ?

Thanks,
TacTic

Re: Problem SEO mod_rewriting
I've put some screenshots in order to be a little clearer. (see message above)
Am I the only one having to face this issue ? when running a website SEF is essential.
it is working fine on the demo https://www.phoca.cz/demo/modal-box
but I suppose the plugin and module are not running any component at the same time. That would be my best clue.
As always, thanks for your answers

Re: Problem SEO mod_rewriting
Hi,
1. Create new menu group called "Hidden_menu" ... YES
2. Create menu link to Phoca Gallery component in this menu ... YES
3. Create a menu group "Hidden_module" in the module manager ... ??? If you will create new menu then this menu exists in module manager, you only rename this men and make it not published
4. Unpublish this module ... YES if this is a module of the "Hidden_menu"
But on the screeenshot seems like you have other problem, seems like you have made a menu link to category which is unpublished
