I have Phoca Gallery component up and running now and it's great! But no slide show. Do I have to download a slide show plug-in as well for the slide show feature to work?
Thank you

Re: Slide show feature
You mean like Shadow box, JAK, Modal, etc? Explain how to use those, please and I will use one. Mine looks like Modal.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Slide show feature
Okay, Jan, a lightbulb just came on in my brain!
I went to detail view and now I see what you mean. I am playing around with the detail window choices and some of them don't work properly so I'll just choose one that does. On some of them with slide show button clicked it just opens an empty box, says it's loading and stops.
Thanks again,

Re: Slide show feature
The only one that works correctly is JAK lightbox. The Modal Box is my favorite but it doesn't work. The pop up box height is too high and no image appears.
If that can't be corrected, I'll stick with JAK lightbox.

Re: Slide show feature
Hi, then you should check your Joomla! installation, the slideshow in Modal Box and others works normally:
Slideshow in Modal Box (iframe):

Slideshow in Shadowbox (native shadowbox slideshow):

Slideshow in Highslide JS (iframe):

Slideshow in Highslide JS (native Highslide JS image only slideshow):

etc ...

Re: Slide show feature
When I try the Modal Box now. the whole screen gets a gray overcast and won't display anthing. Where in Joomla would there be a problem?

Re: Slide show feature
Hi, then you should check if the standard mootools library with modal box included in Joomla! is not in conflict with some other javascript library loaded on the site (mostly modal box has problems with jquery and in case you will use not conflict jquery it will not help). Try to check plugins or modules or template if it does not include some of such javascript library.

Re: Slide show feature
Working on Modal box: Here's what I did. Went to my template and disabled mootools and also caption js. That brought back the screen without the gray overcast but still didn't size detail view correctly or start the slide show.
At first I was having a problem with a pop up box telling me to check my Java console. Could there be a problem there?
Do you think I should just give up with Modal box?

Hi, sorry no idea why you should check Java console?
Really cannot say what is wrong with your modal box library so I cannot say you should give up or you should not give up Modal box
