error on page - mootools

Post by jinglar8a2 »

I recently updated the phoca gallery component for a website and now in Internet explorer 8 there is an error message on the gallery pages only.

Where the galleries are all visible there is no error but if I click to see a gallery it shows the gallery but with an error on lines 59 and 94...

59...
modal.js is not implemented -Dont understand.

94...
Code 0 :
URI: http:*//www.mysite.co.uk/media/system/js/mootools.js

It works fine in the beloved Firefox of course!

Can somebody please help me in some way with this?

thanks

Hi, which popup method you are using?

thanks for reply..

I originally was usung the 'modal popup' box but as I said it was only loading in a white background instead of popping up so I have since chosen the 'no pop up box ' so that people viewing the site wont get disorientated (it still looks good anyway!).

I dont mind about the pop up not working but the issue is that no matter what pop up method or not I use there are errors on the page.

This is the first time I have had problems with a template and phoca gallery as it is usually a great gallery.

What can you suggest please?

[removed all the bump topics - please, we are answering forum posts in our freetime, next to this work we need to make all the translation coordinating, developing the new features, overwriting all to Joomla! 1.6, etc., sometimes we need to sleep, this is why you get no answer immediately ... :( ]

If this does not depend on a used popup method, you should check other extensions (e.g. modules) loaded on the site, if there is no some javascript library caused a problem.

E.g. if this problems occurs with loaded highslide js and not loaded modal popup, there needs to be other part on the site which loads some other javascript library which can make some problems  :(
