Avatar - Uploading Member - Categories

Hi,

I have Joomla 1.5.17 with Phoca Gallery 2.7.3

Basically I have a fixed group of categories and sub-categories on my site where members can upload their images.
Currently a new member can click on a category and upload an image.

So for the sake of example, Member #1 came and uploaded 2 images.
Member #2 came and uploaded 5 images in a different category.

I cannot see any place in the front end (for guests and members)that displays who uploaded the pictures.
In fact even from the admin side I cannot figure out who uploaded what.

I did try the "User Control" from the front end but then I cannot see the list of categories that I (admin) created in the user control panel.
Again, I simply want my users to be able to upload images to the limited categories that I (admin) created.
AND
I want everyone to see who uploaded which picture. So every picture should have the uploading member's avatar next to it.

The goal is for members to be able to look at a picture and be able to contact the member who uploaded it.

Any and all suggestion is appreciated.

Hi, rights and all information as designed for categories, because of performance issue. For now the checking all the different rights for categories takes a lot of time and if this will work for images too, then in fact the script will consume all the time for checking the rights fo different images. There is planned some way to have info about uploaded image, but it is still under review because this can be very problematic because of memory
