Phoca Download pdf problems

G'day everyone.

Installed phoca download v3 yesterday and uploaded to server. Uploaded pdf files etc etc in backend now it seems the downloading of the pdf from front is corrupted. Have used plenty of different forms but to no avail same things happens, characters all over the screen when you click downlaod.

Can someone help
