Hello,
I have installed Phoca Download 2.1.9 for Joomla 2.5.
I am facing a classical issue of having the link code to a file in an article instead of the file itself.
You will find hereafter various informations on the Joomla site I am working on
I am using JCE editor
I have selected "no filter" as a super user in the global configuration text filters
Both Phoca download and Phoca download button are installed and acticated
This the text in JCE editor and its corresponding html
Les dossiers d'inscription 2014-2015 peuvent être téléchargés ici :
{phocadownload view=file|id=1|target=s}
Après avoir pré-rempli le dossier nous vous proposons de prendre rendez-vous avec l'école au ou de nous retrouver au forum des associations afin de finaliser votre inscription.
A bientôt.

<p> </p>
In front end I get exactly the same text with the code for the link
Thanks for your assistance
Alain

Re: link to a file in an article
Many thanks for your prompt reply.
I effectively realised that I failed to download and install the content plug in. I had installed only the component plug in and the button plug in.
Everything works fine now and this post is solved.
Thanks agin
Alain

@jeremyross,
Check if Component and Plugins are current versions. (For Joomla! v3.x or Joomla! v2.5)
Check if plugins are really enabled (in Plugin Manager)
Kind regards,
Benno

Thanks for your help. Everything was really enabled, but I had to update all of them to the current versions. Works like a charm now

Re: link to a file in an article
Can we add statistics in the article, how many times it was downloaded, size and stuff like that? I am creating website for subtitles i need those things added in every article, is that possible? Actually i need this or something similar. Saying again, only in an article.

Hi, in plugin, there is no such option, only in component - so this needs to be customized for the plugin in the php code directly
