one category still shows folder icon instead of image

I have three categories. Each category contains images. When viewing the root "categories" view, two of the three categories show an image, one still shows the folder icon ... why?!

I have check-in, deleted cache, deleted browser cache, etc, etc, etc ... still this third folder refuses to show one of its images. I also tried the "set unauthorised" trick.

Any ideas anyone? thanks!

Hi, is the category public? Are the images in category public, approved, published?

well, yes to all, but I actually just decided to recreate the entire category, re-upload the images (luckily there aren't that many) and now an image shows instead of the folder icon, as expected. Thanks for replying anyway.
