Hello everyone,
Categories will not show up on the website, despite checking all settings. I used the same settings as all the other categories that did publish on the website. Joomla and Phoca Gallery are all updated to the latest version, so that should not be the problem.
Can anyone help me?

Re: Category will not show up on website despite checking al
Hi,
I have a similar problem. I made the categories and assigned images to them. At first everything worked very well, but now after a system shutdown it does not show categories and images. Can anyone please help me?
Thanks

Hi, check the backend:
- if categories are there
- if they are published
- if they are accessible by public, etc.

Dear Jan,
Thank you for your reply. I found that my problem is in fact another thing: in Categories View Settings if I set Display Subcategories to No, It does not display categories. I don`t know why, but apparently this is the real problem. Can you help me please?
Thanks

Dear Jan,
Sorry for disturbing you, I was able to solve the problem but there is another problem now: in categories view, I see subcategories instead of categories (I have installed PhocaGallery 4.1.1 on Joomla 3.2.4.
Thanks in advance

Hi, are you sure, your tree of categories is OK - I mean, are the subcategories really cubcategories or parent categories?

Dear Jan,
As I have noticed before, I have categories, subcategories and images assigned to subcategories. I don`t know how I can send you a picture of my Joomla Admin. page, but apparently everything is correct!

Hi,
Finally, I solved my problem. In fact I had to assign a folder to each category, but I had forgotten.
Now I have another question: How can I align center categories and thumbnails?

Hi, see options, you can set centering of whole page, or you can use CSS to do this - per different CSS techniques (but float boxes needs to be changed as float boxes cannot be centered in html).
