Category sorting

Post by Batman »

hello,

I do have the problem that I cant find the switch for the category sorting.
If I add a category it is listed at the bottom. but I would like it to be
on top. I only have categories with no parents. The only solution would
be changing the order of the categories manually.

Can anybody help me pls.?? :x

Hi, not sure If I understand you correctly.

Which version you are running? Where is the category listed (bottom - in frontend, backend)?

Can you paste some screenshots what you exactly mean?

Vers. 3.2.7 . Jooma . 2.5.19

I would like to order the categories by date of publication.
I would like to show descending categories according to the date of publication.

There is a Cateogory sorting but this refers to the images "Kategorien Bildsortierung". But I cant find the Category sorting itself.

It is listet at the bottom in frontend - but gets the next free id available e.g. 15
and also the next free available N# in the sorting column.

D'oh D'oh D'oh D'oh D'oh D'oh D'oh D'oh D'oh

Ooooooooooooh man!!!!

I knew it must be easy. I knew it. But I just couldn't find the dropdown.
Probably because I did not expect the generell settings to be at the far bottom of the first tab after the lightbox settings!

I would suggest to put the generell settings in an own tab.

Nevertheless . THANK YOU very much :-)
