[SOLVED]Category order doesn't work

Hi to all,
in the other time I don't had any problem about, later the upgrade to Joomla 3.2.3 I can't change the order of the categories in the categories list. I'm using PG 4.1.0
Someone know if is a bug of Joomla 3.2.3 or other?

Hi, do you mean categories view or category? in frontend or backend? If in frontend, which parameter does not work for you?

thanks for your reply.
I mean that categories in the frontend as the order of the backend. When I try to change the order of the categories in the backend it don't work. I try to drag the category but nothing happen. Of course I've set PG for show the categories as the backend

Basically when I try to drag a category to change its order, the category does not move and I will return a page like the one in the screenshot

Hi, I will take a look at it, this seems like some javascript problem in cms. Anyway, there is a tree which means, whole blocks can be moved, e.g. is category has subcategories, such cannot be moved outside the parent, when you order, subcategories cannot be ordered like parent categories, etc. etc. but in the screenshot, this seems like some javascript problem.

Hmmm, testing it now with subcategories, etc. etc. get no problem there in 3.2.3 - try to enable firebug, do you get some error there?

Hi, this is no Phoca issue. I had the same problem with my site (not using any Phoca component) and it seems an issue of having a broken categories table. I tried several ways to fix it with no luck and finally backed up the old table, created all categories anew and remapped articles, menus and modules to the new ids given to the category entries. For articles mostly via SQL by replacing the old catid with the new one, minding double ids of the old categories, of course.
I also think, that the asset table had to do with the issue as well, but I could not find out. Took me two days to "resign" and redo it all.

I've enabled firebug, but i can't find any error.

Thanks Stefan for your contribute, in my case if I try change the order of Articles or menu voice, all work very well, I've the problem only with the order of PG categories.
I've try change the administrator template from Isis to Hathor but the problem persists.

I hope that is not the same your problem because I've a very big quantity of categories and in this case I'm not sure how to proceed.

Hi, I also encountered similar problem, but my problem happened in the UCP of PG. When I click the "Select Category" or "Select state" to select a category or state, the web page will automatically refresh, let me can't create a subcategory or upload a image. I am also using Joomla 3.2.3 I and PG 4.1.0 . Please kindly help on this.

Hi, testing now again, on three different servers and different browsers and PCs, get no such problem in administration of Phoca Gallery 4.1.0 (testing with different levels of subcategories )
