Does J 3.2 and PG 4.1.0 function correctly? I've set this up with a few categories and images and no matter what setting I seem to try, I can only get a single column in any view.
Edit** Categories View I can get 3 columns but Category View only a single column.

Is the demo phoca gallery 4.1.0 on Joomla 3.2? Is it a default install? How do you get category view like the demo with 4 columns?

Re: Joomla 3.2 and PG 4.1.0 categories
From reading the forums I found this thread viewtopic.php?f=1&t=24429
At that time Jan and not written options for it yet. I am assuming that in the latest release he included it for Categories View but not Category View. Would that be a correct assumption? Is anyone else getting a single column in category view?

Hi, in Phoca Gallery category view, the columns are not set, they are created with float boxes (responsive feature) and fill whole width of the site. So to set 4 columns on your site, just set the right value for width of images.
4 columns on the site:
Width of your site = 4 x (width of the image + 2 x padding + 2 x margin)
e.g.
960px = 4 x (220 + 2x5 + 2x5)
960 = 4 x 240
960 = 960

Thank you for the reply. I am still trying to grasp this. Where is this change to be made? Is it in PG options or in a css file or a default.php file? I've looked through some of the css files but do not see a definitive section called "Category View" or a place for image width?

Hi,
image width - this will be set by thumbnail size (Phoca Gallery Option) - then thumbnails needs to be regenerated (when this option is changed)
padding - margin: this you can set in CSS but you can leave it as default - just see the Phoca Gallery and Joomla! 3 demo and set the same size of thumbnails

Re: Joomla 3.2 and PG 4.1.0 categories
I donated $25.00 USD but I am sorry I'm still not getting multiple columns. Is there a demo administrator I can log into to see the settings?
I went into PG Control Panel, clicked on options and went to Thumbnails tab. In the thumbnails tab I increased the width of the medium thumbnail to various sizes and recreated the thumbnails each time. The thumbnails were wider but still had a single column.

I figured out the problem. It was my template causing the issue. I switched to the default Beez template and it works. Is there a fix that you might know that can correct this. If your wondering, I am using a free template from Shape5 called "Design-Control".

Re: Joomla 3.2 and PG 4.1.0 categories
After further investigation it turns out it was the template. There was a custom com-content in the html. I had to remove the "clear:both;" line from
.item, .items-leading
It displays correctly. Hope this may help someone else.
