Phoca and Joomla 3 Demo - how to recreate

Hi, I really like the "Phoca and Joomla 3 Demo" located at https://www.phoca.cz/joomla3demo/category/1-celebration

I have gone through settings to try to set it up this way, but I cannot seem to get it to look this way. Can you post what the parameters are of this? Maybe screenshots of the settings? That would be GREAT!!

I did the masonry view, but the width is not the same. I tried changing some settings, but I still can't quite get there.

Hi, yes, it is default settings with Masonry enabled - to have other sizes, you need to change the sizes of the thumbnails and of course create additional thumbnails, see:

I have been searching all over the forums trying to get my gallery to look like your Joomla 3 demo. Is it possible for you to post screenshots of all settings for the demo? My gallery still doesn't look like yours. Here are the thumbnail sizes I've set:

640 Large Image Width
480 Large Image Height
224 Medium Image Width
300 Medium Image Height
112 Small Image Width
150 Small Image Height
664 Detail Window Width
504 Detail Window Height

Hi, just set the sizes you need in Options. You can set them for large thumbnails, small thumbnails and medium thumbnails. You can enable additional thumbnails (2x width, or 2x height)

The Joomla! 3 demo uses this settings:

Large Image Width 640
Large Image Height 480
Medium Image Width 224
Medium Image Height 150
Small Image Width 112
Small Image Height 75

and let me know why I have thumbnails that are 224x600 and why I still have thumbnails that are 150 px wide? Can't we just set the width to be 224 px and have the height determined by the size of the image?

Thanks Jan, but I'm still not there. Tried to include a URL for you to look at, but I think I failed.

My gallery has some 224x600 thumbs (your demo has none) and there are also still thumbs that are 150px wide, despite entering the numbers from your post above and deleting and regenerating all thumbs???

Hi, the size of the thumbnails is influenced by ratio - and by the parameter - crop - if you will crop the image, it will have the size you have defined, if you will not crop the images, the ratio of the image will be counted and the image gets the size you defined (but the ratio will be not destroyed, so if you set 100x100 and your image as ration 2:1, your thumbnail will have 100x50px)

I just want it to look exactly like the demo. I've tried countless combinations of settings. I can't get it right. Please just publish the settings used for the demo. Lots of others have posted on this forum looking for help trying to replicate your demo.
