How to set custom title for Categories?

Hello, everyone!

How to set custom title for Categories in Phoca Gallery, but without showing in mod_phocagallery_menu ?

For example:

I have product category - Smartphones, and category look like this:

Products - Smartphones (and this is the title of the category page). Products is index of Phoca Gallery. In mod_phocagallery_menu is also show only: Smartphones, and lets say subcategories after move mouse over it.

I want to set price range 300 to 500 dollars, and want when user is in category to see in title: Products - Smartphones - Price range: 300$ to 500$, but i NOT want this to show in mod_phocagallery_menu.

How do i achieve that ?

Hi, you can set the title formatting in menu link parameters (to display only menu title or menu title plus category title)

To set it for your needs, I think, you need to customize in php

e.g. category view:

components/com_phocagallery/views/category/tmpl/ ...

Ok. How to call "Geo tagging Title" for example and place it next to category title.

In default.php i found where category title is:

<div class="componentheading'.$this->params->get( 'pageclass_sfx' ).'">'.$heading.' HERE I WANT TO PLACE Geo Tagging Title</div>'. "\n";

In this way if i type my text in Geo Tagging Title imput field i will get what i want for different categories.

Hi, you need to load the geo tagging title from database (not sure which geo tagging you for now mean?) but if it is included in database, such needs to be loaded from database, if it is included in image, it should be extracted from image.
