Joom!Fish 2.5 support?

Are there plans to make Phoca Gallery compatible with Joom!Fish 2.5?
The old content element files don't work with the latest Joom!Fish.

Hi, it is planned but with lower priority, first all the Phoca extensions needs to be updated and overwritten for newest Joomla! version. So this can take a lot of time

In the mean time, here's an interesting Joom!Fish hack to make Phoca Gallery (and lots of other components I suppose) compatible with Joom!Fish:

Basically all you need to do is to remove the two 'remove *' lines in plugins\system\jfoverrides.php (lines 75 and 76).
This makes the "All" language option available for Phoca Gallery images, which will make them visible in all languages.

Although somebody said this hack breaks parts of Joom!Fish, I've had no issues with it at all.

Hey Jan,

since October 1 klasb set up a migrator plus LanternFish (joomfish 2.5 fork) from J1.5. You said a while back that you are not working on phoca gallery joomfish plugins because of low priority. Has anything changed since? I really would upgrade my whole installation and don't lose the multilanguage image support.

Hi, unfortunately, I didn't find any time to do Joom!Fish files for the Phoca Gallery as I only find time for overwriting current extensions for newest versions. But the Joom!Fish plugins for Phoca Gallery work independent to the component - so if there will be someone who will upgrade the old one files, I will appreciate it a lot.
