Hi Jan,
I'm working on a Joomla 1.5 website which I did not create myself (I know that it should be upgraded to Joomla 2.5 or even 3.x but that's up to to owner of the site). At the moment I am asked to enhance the accessibility of the site for users with disabilities who use their keyboard instead of a mouse for pointing and clicking. An independent certifying institute in this country (Belgium) checked the site and said that the lightbox, which is part of Phoca Gallery, has an issue with this type of users; it cannot be accessed using keyboard only.
As far as I can see the version of Phoca Gallery which is installed on the site is 2.8.1, the most recent one for Joomla 1.5 and the lightbox library that is selected, is JAK Lightbox. Could you please tell me if an other library would be more accessible to this group of users? Or maybe we would have to upgrade to a newer Joomla version and Phoca GAllery version? Or maybe even this could be solved by some kind of override?
Kind regards,
Frits

Re: Accessibility of the lightbox for users with only keyboa
Hi, just check all the possible options in Phoca Gallery (there are cca 7 detail window methdos), not sure but I think, some of them include such feature (maybe Highslide JS) and if it is not enabled, the documentation for such library should be found and enable it in this javascript library
