PhocaGallery 4.0.1 install error.

Ok, here's the situation:

1) Brand new install
2) Installed multiple other components without error.
3) Go to install Phoca Gallery like I have many times before and get a 404 Component Not Found error. It has nothing to do with the menu system or anything, happens right after I attempt to install with the Extension Manager.

I am using:

PHP 5.3
Joomla 3.1.5
PhocaGallery 4.0.1

I have looked through the Install Problems page and none of the suggestions work, not the FTP install or anything.

Hi, really no idea what can be wrong. The component is not installed by itself but by Joomla! so maybe something is wrong while installation it.

Try to add the url directly to the component into url bar: http : // your - site . com /administrator/idex.php?option=com_phocagallery

really no idea testing now, installing and seems to be Ok, ... try to remove all the possible information from database about the component, maybe this will help:

Removed but still no luck installing, same error

PhocaDownload installed without any problems....

Hi, mostly removing the information from menu does not help, there are more items stored in database about the component - all must be removed (include cache if it exists, etc - jos_menu, jos_assets, jos_extensions, jos_session)

The only entries we're in menu, no other entries we're found. Guess I forgot to mention that.
So weird...
