Upgrade Joomla 2.5 to 3.1 breaks Phoca Gallery - Fatal Error

Hello,

I just tried to test Upgrade from Joomla 2.5 to Joomla 3.1 (current version). The Joomla Upgrade works smooth, but Phoca Gallery + Plugins / phocadownload raises a lot of errors... Mainly FATAL ERROR ... administratorDScomponentsDScom_phocagalleryDSlibrariesDSloader.php
( I do use phoca gallery and phoca download + some of the plugins)

I know that there are updates of the components for Joomla 3, but I am not able to get to the places in Joomla anymore to do the upgrade because of this fatal errors...
I looked around on the page and found no instructions on howto do the upgrade to Joomla 3.

I tried myself
- disable phoca gallery plugin and component via mysql table update ==> then I am able to get into joomla again.
- website is running with a couple of erros in phocadownload
- Now I was able to get the the extensions manager and try to upload updated version of extensions, but while uploading phoca gallery 4.0 Joomla 3.1 raises error " 404 Component not found"!
- Same Error when trying to update phocadownload...

Any instructions / help appreciated..
