Hi,
I am (still) testing Gallery 4.0.0 RC.
After reading all the documentation and trying (almost) all of the settings, I still can not get the layout as I would like it.
Issue:
I have the following structure of categories:
A
A-1
A-1-1 to A-1-99
A-2-1 to A-2-99
A-3-1 to A-3-99
B-1
B-1-1 to B-1-99
B-2-1 to B-2-99
B-3-1 to B-3-99
And so on. For some categories there are even more sub levels.
The pictures are finally in the last category level. So in A-1-1 picture 1 to 99
My problem is that the sub categories are always shown in the standard folder view.
So the top level is in Mosaic, the sub level is in folder view and the picture level is in Masonry.
When a create a new menu and link a sub category then it is not possible to set the Mosaic option.
How can I set up the structure so it shows Or the Mosaic with random pictures from the lower levels Or the Masonry for the sub levels in the structure?
A to Z --> Mosaic
A-1 to A-99 --> Mosaic
A-1-1 to A-1-99 --> Masonry
B-1 to B-99 --> Mosaic
B-1-1 to B-1-99 --> Masonry
Etc.
Thanks in advance for your explanation.
Regards,
Frank

Re: Sub categories (category?) not in Mosaic
Hi, Masonry can be displayed only in category view and the Mosaic only in Categories View, it does not matter if the images are inside category or subcategory but if you are viewing categories or category view
