After updating Joomla from 1.6 to 2.5 (I ipdated all the plug-ins too) I can't anymore see my galleries. Everytime I click on a picture appears the message "You are not authorized to do this action Please login." Any ideas? Thank you

Hi, did you try to recheck the cache settings? See similar posts in this forum.

That's what i've already done unfortunatly without result.
I read that I should to re-install (not update) the plugin but I can't lose all my phoca gallery datas.

Any idea?

If you need to upgrade component, while upgrading, you will not lose your data:

I already upgrade the component but it doesn't work properly and the message "You are not authorized to do this action Please login." is shown

Hi, try to see similar posts in this forum, there were some problems in 1.6 and 1.7 with this issue (you are not authorized), try to see such posts in joomla.org forum, there were some guides how to solve (not sure if the installing of 2.5 from scratch will be needed )

RESOLVED:
I DID!!!!
I hope it can be useful for someone. I just set * in the field "language" of the table phocagallery.
The field was empty. My site uses only one language (italian... that's why my english is so bad ).
