Hi guys.
I'm looking for a way to automate the generation of cooliris rss files for categories.
I set up a site with the latest Phoca Gallery component and the client requires front end upload of their photos, which I have sorted. But the client prefers the Cooliris 3D Wall view for their individual galleries. Which is working perfectly, except for the fact that you need to create a new rss file from the backend each time new images are uploaded.
The client does not wish to learn joomla and does not wish to keep me on retainer simply to create a new rss file every day.
Is there anyway of automating this process or possibly adding a cooliris rss file generator button to the User Control Panel?
Kind Regards,
Martiens

Re: Frontend Upload and Cooliris 3D Wall view
Hi, for now there is no such option, so this needs to be customized - e.g. to recreate the RSS files after every image upload in frontend (but be aware, this can be security problem for the server as it can take a lot of memory resources
)

Hi Jan,
Thank you for the quick response. Would it be possible to do this with a cron job perhaps? So that new rss files are created once a day?
