Cannot make boxplus work with videos

Hi Jan and everyone else around here!
I chose PhocaGallery mainly because of its abilities to combine images and videos.
And I wanted to use BoxPlus (of course not the 'image-only' version) as it's simply elegant and will require much less restyling than its alternatives.

However I wasn't able to make BoxPlus show any videos. Tried both youtube code and custom player code.
And while they work fine in modal and highslide, they don't work when I use BoxPlus.

But it should work shouldn't it?
Any important settings I'm missing?
Currently BoxPlus will just show the thumb instead of the video player.
