captcha missing / language not working

I had this before and thought it is solve but no:

captcha image is missing

and:

installed german language files but nothing changes - all still in english (default langauge: german)

Hi, try to see if the files (translation is included on your server) see this article to get info where the images are stored:

Try to see the options, and change the parameters for the link of captcha image, maybe this will help in case the path was not correctly created on your server
