Hit counter for each category

I have several folders (categories) with pictures in.
How can I display a hit counter in each category?
If not possible, then -> feature request ...

Hi, depends in which place you need to see the hit. It can be displayed in categories view. If you need to display it somewhere else, this can be customized in output files.

I consider, better to see a hit counter for each picture
(on the bottom of the opened pic, next to the Details and Download icon, same like in Statistics, but for each pic)
