Shadowbox navigation problems with IE 10

I aht IE just like anyone else does, but using the shadowbox in Internet Explorer 10 the navigation buttons in, previous, pause, next, close, do nto show, they show black on black.

I was able to correct it by forcing the page to Compatability mode, but really would like to know if there is a fix for this or any css changes I can make.

Hi, I have tested it with IE tester and seems it displays IE10 but renders as IE9 (as I don't have installed IE10) so in IE9

... so for now I cannot say what can be wrong for the IE10

Hi Jan,

We have been facing with the above IE 10 issue. Same problem for the latest and older (J! 1.5) Phoca versions.
Do you see the above outlined problem?
Have you figured out a solution?

I'm having the exact same problem. I just updated to IE10 and the shadowbox isn't displaying the nav buttons. Any solution?

Ok, this is an update. I put the following code, <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=9">, in the <head> section of my site and all's well.

My specs:
Joomla 2.5.9
Phoca 3.2.3

The above solution should work, but to be honest I don't want to force IE to render the site as IE9. I rather want to find a solution for IE 10.
Any idea?

Same problem (IE 10 on Win7) Even with <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=9"> in <head>.
