i am lost in phoca gallery.
Never seen something so complex to upload images.
i want to create a galery page like your wall paper with three albums animals, flowers and cars.
so in my mind i create three categories animals, flowers and cars and while creating categories i have seen "choose folder" so i suppose it is nice to attach a folder animals, flowers and cars to each category. correct ?
From now on it should be very straightforward and it isn't at all !!!
let's consider for instance slideshowpro director or simpleviewer well known softwares
ounce the flowers album (category/folder for you ?) created and publisehed you open it, upload as many flower images you want in this album and when it is finished you edit each title, description field and everything is very fast.
tomorrow, i can modify the album. i open it, check some files press delete, choose upload files and add new files.
i edit title and description and that's it ! in my album i see all my images so i can drag and drop them to change position,...
moreover i can choose one image as the unique album thumbnail and decide it is removed from the album and just be used as thumbnail.
in phoca galery, i have selected images, multiple, choose the folder (i hope it is my album), choose file and start upload : nice except that i am not sure they receive the category flowers.
then i loose a lot of time switching from one panel to another to edit my album and update it.
I agree i have perhaps missed something
