Viewing gallery on selection of category.

Is it possible to get the gallery to come up when you select the category rather than it bringing up the view of the category contents and then selecting an image?

Had a good look at the settings/documentation and forum but could not find the answer to my question.

i made a link with category view. if than klick on a categorie joomla coundn't find the Images.

example.com/index.php?option=com_phocagallery&view=category&id=1:testkat&Itemid=487

My Question: is the double dot in the link OK? i dont know where it com from.

My System Joomla 3.02 and phoca gallery V4Alpha3

MySQL:5.5.28
PHP: 5.3.15

Hi, it is a standard Joomla! feature, first there is a number of category, and next to it after: there is an alias ... so this is standard Joomla! route URL.

Hi,

because the SQL Statement looks like this

SQL=SELECT parent_id FROM jos_categories WHERE id=1testkat

if i delete the alias "testkat"in the Database it works.

Hi, this should not be possible as the ID is tested on integer value so the alias is striped there (only the Integer is asked by SQL query, in other case, this could be a security problems)
