User Upload in Frontend

Experts...
I'm new with Phoca Gallery , but I managed it to activate the User upload of pictures via the User Control Panel.

Problem:
Looks like every User has/ needs to create his own "Main Category" and than he can ad Sub-Categories to uplod pictures

What I'm looking for is that ALL Users can use the SAME Main Category (like 'Pictures 2013', 'Pictures 2014'.. ..) and ca also create new Sub categories or use existing Sub-categories to upload pictures

I hope someone could give me some hints how to configure/ setup this

Hi, users can upload to category when they have rights to do, but they can do this in Category view. In User Control Panel, only owner of category can do this.

Jan, thanks for your response ! - Have tested this - it works fine.

Im not sure if it solves my problem

A user should be able to create as much Albums (Categories) as he want ( I dont ned Category and SUB-Category, just one level)
it seams that in Phoca a User can create only one Main Category and several Sub Categorys

1. To enable other users to upload pictures in the Subcategory I must set categorys to visible also if they are empty - in this case also the Main Category is visible (what I don't want)

2. for each new Sub-Category a user has created, the admin has to set the access rights manually, so that other users are allowed to upload pictures - right ?

I'm looking for a solution that one (ore more) key users can manage the Gallary without any intervention from the admin. May be it works with Phoca.. but I don't know how to set up it propperly

Thanks Jan - I read through this manual already several time and it looks like the Phoca Gallery "worked as designed" on my website .
