High server load

I'm using Phoca guestbook for a long time.
But now my hosting compagny mailed me that the mysql through phoca guestbook is extremely high.
I changed nothing in the last year, but if i can't solve it, they will expend my site.
I don't wat to change my guestbook with anotherone, so i hope anyone can help me with this.

I allready searched at the forum, but i can't find an answer about this.
