Register user can't rate

Hi, thanks for the component, it's very cool.
I have some trouble with the rate system, I try to explain step by step

version Joomla! 2.5.6 Stable [ Ember ]

1) install the right version of phoca gallery, but I must run the sql in the phpmyadmin because the installation doesn't create the table. all gone right.

2) in phoca option set under user both option "Display Rating Of Categories" and "Display Rating of Images" are set to yes

3) create a gallery and category

4) create a joomla account as a normal user

Than with this user appear all time : "Only registered and logged in users can rate this image"
What's happend?
What am I doing wrong?

Hi, is the user active - is he logged in in frontend while making a rating?

I have the same problem. The user logs in, but cannot rate the image. The stars are highlighted upon rollover, but the rating is not given/applied. This used to work, now it doesn't. Tried enabling and disabling all plugins, tried various viewing options, still nothing -- issue persists. Any ideas?

We have had some custom work completed by Adrian Rosian. I believe you at Phoca know him pretty well from what I understand. I'm not sure if anything that he has customized for us has affected this issue but we are not able to get in touch with him at this time and we've noticed that we aren't the only one experiencing this issue.

Our configuration is set to show votes with images and to allow voting on images. Your assistance is appreciated. Thank you.

Hi, testing now with version 3.2.2 without any problem why you are not using stable version of Phoca Gallery?

Problem fixed, but in answer to your question, we are using beta version because my developer has customized it and upgrading seems to break how it functions. I know, I know, developer should have fixed this....
