Problem with URL

HI,
i've some problem, i don't understand that there is a bug or not...

But with anything URL the website doesn't return an 404 error.

I see the same problem into the demo. https://www.phoca.cz/joomlademo/

Correct URL: https://www.phoca.cz/joomlademo/category/4-roma

If i write www .phoca.cz/joomlademo/category/4-r doesn't return a 404 error
if i write www .phoca.cz/joomlademo/ciccio doesn't return a 404 error

Hi,

1) 4-r (Joomla! sees the link Ok, as it takes the first number as the right url: 4-roma, 4-ro, 4 is still the same link
2) if no category will be found, phoca gallery returns to main page of it.

But there isn't a mode to return a 404 page???

i've implement SEO, and i've change URL, and if the site don't return a 404 a can't use the redirect component of joomla...
This is not the best thing for accessibility.... The user find some blank page...

Hi, this needs to be customized. I am planning to do new parameter for this (in case the category will be not found, return 404)
