Cant save Phoca Gallery Options

Hello

meanwhile I spent about 6 hours searching with google and in a lot of forums, unfortunately without success. But step by step:

I using the latest Joomla v2.5.4 and Phoca Gallery v3.2.1. My local installation runs on xampp with PHP v3.5.8, similar configuration at the production server (host europe) - same problem.
With a click at the options icon a modal window appears. First thing is, i cannot overwrite some settings, e.g. in the "Categories View Settings" the very first field "Number of Columns". When I try to change some other settings and I then to click on the SAVE Button or the SAVE AND CLOSE Button nothing happens. Only the CANCEL Button works - but the changes was not applied, of course.

Manytimes I have read about to increase the "Suhosin" values - but I can't find a value named "suhosin.post.max_vars" even I searched my whole xampp installation folder for this syntax.

Does anybody know a solution? Antworten gerne auch auf Deutsch

Hi, I think, Xampp is not installed with suhosin, so maybe there will be some other problem. Do you get some error message (javascript error message in javascript console of the browser)?

Hi there
you're right - there was another problem. Meanwhile I solved it. In Joomla you can choose a standard editor in two ways - in the main configuration and in the USER configuration. I changed the editor to standard in the main config but I forgot to change it in my user account too. Now it works very fine....
