Phoca Gallery - error during install (mod)

Hi,

During installation PhocaGallery (v. 3.2.1) I get that messege:

(-) Component Install: DB function reports no errors
(i) Error installing component

Question is: What is the problem and how to solve it?

i found another symptom: :/

When i am in: "Plug-in Manager: Plug-ins", (set filter: phoca) - I see "Phoca Gallery Plugin"... but locked. then i click it and i see -> 500 - An error has occurred. The file phocagallery.xml could not be found.

how can i remove phoca gallery (and install again )?

now after manually installation from com_phocagallery_ftp_install i can install phoca from com_phocagallery_v3.2.1 with no errors.

message it's ok, but... when reload my web... there is: Error: PLG_CONTENT_PHOCAGALLERY_ERROR (PLG_CONTENT_PHOCAGALLERY_COMPONENT_NOT_INSTALLED)

so, I have to rename phocagallery name to work [(web)/plugins/content].

Somebody can HELP me!

Hi, com_phocagallery_ftp_install ist not more used in Joomla! 2.5, see:

hello, thanks for answer.

I copy (unzipped) files to the server, install from server and there is no errors. now i can choose, install or reinstall, but whatever I choose, the end is the same. :/ no errors. so, i'm happy, but... I can manage Phoca Gallery (add a category, upload pics), but only once - after instalation. later i can't run (use) Phoca (500 errors).

maybe i should remove Phoca Gallery (completly) and later reinstall? but how?

ps. menu components -> the phoca gallery menu is not visible.

i can use (only manage pics) Phoca Gallery (admin) when i use adress (site)/administrator/index.php?option=com_phocagallery.

I know you are tired (bored) , but... only you can help me... :]

can you explaint me, how to _completly_ remove phoca? i think that i should try again. its my idea that its necessary to 'ininstall' (clean db)

ps. there is no menu phoca gallery in admin panel - how can i back it (mean: what and where can i copy )?
