JCE Editor in Front-end?

Post by hopekiah »

I'm teaching my artists how to add their art via the front-end using Phoca Gallery. This is such a great feature for artists. I always use NO POPUP so that each detail generates its own page with its own title tag, and metatags, which is fantastic for search engines. I also use the XMAP Phoca plugin so that every time a client adds art, it shows up in the sitemap, which I've submitted to Google Webmaster Tools. This process can actually replace a blog in terms of SEO. But it would be infinitely better if JCE loaded in the front-end Phoca Gallery editor window. Then, we could add keyword-rich links to other pages on their site to truly maximize SEO. Is there any way to either: load JCE in the front end Phoca Gallery window or link to other pages on the site easily via the front end.
(I have added my vote for this on the feature request page)

I posted this in the JCE forum and got this reply:
The Phoca gallery developers need to add the necessary hooks to load and editor into a part of their extension.
IS there any chance of this?

Hi, unfortunatelly I don't know JCE, so to have a look at such feature, I need to know what exactly means: "the necessary hooks" :-(
