Creating subcategories in category view

Hi folks,

I'm fiddling around with Phoca Gallery (3.2.1) and user permissions. What I want to do is have a group of users, PicMaster, who is allowed to add subcategories to quite a few categories - and, naturally, to add pictures to these new subcategories. For the sake of simplicity I want this to happen through the gallery.

The permissions now allow my test-PicMaster to add images to the categories I've given the group access to. The test-user can't, however, add any subcategories. From the Options-panel I set the "Enable Direct Subcategory Creation"-value to "Yes". The description text tells me that

"If Yes subcategories can be created directly in the category view. Only users who have rights to upload images into parent category can create a subcategory in this category"

My user has rights to upload...the value is Yes...how do I create the subcategories?
