Image gallery full-screen in Firefox

Using Phoca Gallery 3.2.1 with Firefox 14.0.1. With Jak Lightbox or Shadowbox the gallery spuriously (not always) takes up the full-screen and you lose the controls and image title and description. I checked in IE, Safari and Opera and this does not happen, nor does it happen with Windows Vista. I tried other display types, like modal box and highslide JS, but they look very poor.

System: Windows 7.

Has anybody else experienced this and is there a solution? Thanks.

I checked the site on 2 versions of PHP - 5.2 and 5.3 but get the same problem. I now get the problem on Vista as well as Win 7, so must have been fortunate first time on Vista that it worked OK - but it fails now. But the problem does seem to be specific to Firefox browser. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.
