External link slimbox

I can't seem to get this working. I'm showing examples of my website in a gallery and I want people to be able to open an external link from the slimbox view. When I add a link to the description, it is showing as flat text. And when I add an external link this isn't even showing.

Edit: I'm using the module to show the images, not the component.

How to solve this? I've been working on this for a few hours already and I can't get it working...

Hi, slimbox is an image methode and because of possible javascript conflicts, html is removed from description, try to see:
