I'm sure this is going to be one of those "duh!" answers, but I have searched and didn't come up with anything obvious.
I have Phoca gallery running. Single and Java upload work but the multiple upload doesn't. I get a message saying "You browser doesn't have HTML 5 support." If I switch to one of the other methods I get other messages but none of them allow me to continue.
I see it uses Plupload - do I need to install that somehow? If so, is there a link on how to do that?
We have just had a big family reunion and I want to make uploading of photos as easy as possible for people.
Thanks!

Re: Multiple Upload not working
Hi Jan. I tried other methods - I get similar errors telling me that it won't work.
Is there something I need to do to install Plupload?
Thanks

For HTML 5 loader I get: You browser doesn't have HTML 5 support.
For Flash loader I get: You browser doesn't have Flash installed.
For Gears loader I get: You browser doesn't have Gears installed.
For Silverlight loader I get: You browser doesn't have Silverlight installed.
I hope that helps.

Re: Multiple Upload not working
I tried several browsers and different PCs - same results.
I suspect they are are not installed on the server - which was why I asked "Is there something I need to do to install Plupload?"
Since HTML5 isn't server side technology I was assuming there was nothing to install there.
Thanks

Re: Multiple Upload not working
The same thing happened to me when I set
Maximal Upload Size (in bytes - front, admin upload)"enable max file upload" don't set it to "0".
Instead, set to a specific number (I set mine to 50000000 as i am the only person uploading images) you may want to set it lower.
When I did that the flash uploader was showing again and uploading well.
Good luck, hope it works for you.

Re: Multiple Upload not working
vtjoanne - thanks for the tip. Unfortunately Maximal Upload Size was already set to a value. I thought it might be that I would have to change the size for Maximal Size of all User's Images, which was set to zero. Unfortunately setting that didn't work either.
Thanks for reaching out.
