I can not see the whole picture in thumbnail

Hi. I am a new user. I have read the documentation and tried to find answer in this forum. This maybe quite simple but I can not make it right. My problem is that I can not see the whole picture in my thumbnails. Phoca does not automatically resize my pictures so that they fit in thumbnails. In some thumbnails there is forexample head missing. Also when I open these thumbnails the whole picture can not be seen. Is there a default size in pictures? My pictures are approximately 800x500px? This problem mostly in vertical pictures. Very gratefull if somenone can help.

Hi, see options, you can disable the crop function (so the images will be not crop):

Actually I have resized my thumbnails bigger according to the advice you had in the first link. I hoped that my pictures would be seen better if the thumbnail is bigger. I also have tried to created new thumbnails ( I have deleted the old ones and let Phoca create new ones) Did not help. Can my picture size be wrong? Is there a limit for the size or something?
I have also updated the Phoca into the newwest version but that did not help eather.

I still keep asking you this because I have tried all possible ways to solve this problem but not succeeded. I have tried to resize some of my gallery pictures into very small size but they still go 'over' the thumbnail. Problem is not the picture size but somewhere else. Am i the only one who has had this problem.pls

Did you disable the crop function and then recreated the thumbnails?

Yes I did. I also tried to delete all thumbnails from server and let phoca create them again. Now I have started to resize some higher pictures and in some (not all) that seems to work. Maybe I just deleted those pictures that can not fully be seen in thumbs. Thank you for your help anyways.
