slideshows not shown in product descriptions.

Hi,

I have a website to sell downloadable products. I use the joobi software, jMarket, for my store. To show the products I like to use image slideshows in the productdescriptions. I can get slideshows working in site articles but not in jMarket productdescriptions.

Anyone familiar with a problem like this?

Maybe I need to add some extra information. I use TinyMCE as editor. Can it be that it has to do with the editor?

Some extra information.
I am building a new webstore using jMarket as shop. I thought the problem was in the new shop alone.

My old webstore was build with joomla 1.5 and virtuemart 1.9. Slideshows used to be shown without a problem in my old store. Now they are disappeared as well. So it is not a problem with jMarket but also with virtuemart that slideshows do not show in productdescriptions.

What can be wrong?

Not sure if I understand your question. I do not have a module installed. Do I need one to show image slideshows in articles and product descriptions?

This is the Phoca stuff I have installed:
Phoca gallery component
Phoca gallery plugin
Phoca gallery button plugin
Phoca slideshow plugin

Please let me know if I need to install more.

Aha, maybe I now understand what you mean, if you are using the slideshow plugin, it is a content plugin - such can be used in content only or in description of components which are ready to display content plugins. If you extensions does not support displaying of the content plugin - such needs to be customized, see:

So the Phoca slideshow plugin does not work in "3rd party" components unless the PHPcodes is adjusted as you describe in the article.
I am not good at coding. I need to ask the developer of the component to adjust it.

Or do you have some sort of workaround for me to use the slideshow plugin.

Hi, not only Phoca Slideshow plugin, but all the content plugin written for Joomla! do not work in code part which is not content or it is not ready for accepting content plugins - in the article there are all the information needed for possible implementing this feature in the component - so just ask your developer and link him/her the article.
