Category(Album) shows as folder not Image

Hi

I love that I can import Facebook albums to Phoca Gallery, BUT I am unable to display each Facebook album picture. How can I do this ?cause when I create a "regular non-facebook" Category/album an image from the gallery is displayed.

I see that you did it on the demo page, under the album "Facebook", how can I make it work on my website like that??

I was already able to import the albums so the pictures are loaded from the gallery view correctly, that is no problem.

BUT what I mean is that on the category view the Picture for facebook Albums/categories shows a Folder instead of the first image from each album, unlike with "normal" Phoca Gallery Categories.

The page that you linked never mentioned this problem. I had previously followed those steps, and I was able to import/export my albums, now I would like to show an image for each of those albums instead of a ugly folder.

So basically, the parameters work correctly for insite galleries but not for Facebook galleries

Hi, yes, external images like images from Picasa or Facebook could not be displayed as folder icons - they could not be searched in the system

there is a Facebook album almost at the end with its own thumbnail, just like the rest of the albums

Could you explain what should I do in order to show the category images like that?... I mean, including the category/album for Facebook images... or was this hardcoded?

Hi, sorry of confusing, I have done some changes there to show them. Does the setting of parameters not help? There are more parameters (for categories view, for category view, for categories view in category view) Try to check out all of them.

Hi

I have tried all of them and none shows category/album image from Facebook albums... while the rest of the in-site category/albums do Show a thumbnail from its images. I have also tried adding an image to the category description on the editor but this image only shows up while inside that category and not in place of the Category Folder icon

This is the only reason I cant really use facebook album feature cause none wants to click on an album that shows no front image

Testing now, like tested on the demo site and seems like there should not be problem, so really no idea what can be wrong there?

Hi, tested with default settings of Phoca Gallery - nothing changed there, I think
