Shadowbox Slideshow

I've been having trouble getting a slide show to auto start.
I've figured out that the problem only happens when the detail window is set to Shadowbox.
When I click a picture in a gallery, the Shadowbox pop-up appears.
At the bottom of the pop-up there is a button to go forward, a button to go backwards and a button to close the pop-up, there is, however, no button to start a slide show.

I have the Shadowbox Slide show Delay set to 5.

I'm using the latest version of Phoca Gallery under Joomla 2.5.6

Any ideas on how to get the slide show to work again using Shadowbox? It used to work just fine.
