Hi everyone,
in the Progress of fine-tuning a Joomla Page I wanted to use the core RSS creation Feature of Joomla (2.5). After googleing my way through "how" to do this, I faced my next inhibitor and hoped that some of you had an idea how to dodge the issue:
Each Article is processed correct, as long as there is no direct phoca gallery content within the article. As soon as there is, you see the unprogressed/uninterpreted content of the article, and not the "small" Picture preview html-output that is usually done by a Phoca Gallery interpreter (I guess).
Is there a way to force the interpretation of the {phocagallery view=...|...|...|...} part to at least show the small thumbnail within the RSS Feed?
Thanks in advance!
Sebastian
For those interested: Joomla has a RSS Creation already implemented. You simply need to post two additional variables in your URL while watching a Category-Blog: "&format=feed&type=rss"

Re: RSS Feed Creation with embedded Phoca Picture
Hi, such feature is implemented in RSS of Phoca Gallery, so maybe you should look at it and maybe then the plugin needs to be parsed somehow and produce similar output which is used in RSS of Phoca Gallery component

Hi Jan,
this sounds good. Hopefully I can identify the functions needed by the Plugin to correctly display Pictures in Articles within RSS Feeds
If you have any clues or hints to point me in the right directions I would appreciate it.
I'll look into the issue on the next weekend and keep you informed here
