fb album name in description of imported pics

Post by sgofferj »

Hi,

when importing pics from facebook, PG puts the facebook album name into the picture's description without any separators.

Example:

On facebook I have the Album "Birdhouse / foodstation cam".
In this album is an image with the description "Blue tit (sinitiainen) on landing approach".

The resulting images description in PG is "Birdhouse / foodstation cam Blue tit (sinitiainen) on landing approach"

Is it possible to disable this and take only the actual image description? I think, it’s rather unnecessary to include the fb album name into the description and without any separator, it looks pretty messy.

I just downloaded and installed 3.2.1 and updated my PG album for the birdhouse. Before, I had hand-edited all pictures to remove the fb album name from the description. Now, after updating the album from facebook, the album name again is in the description of every picture in this category.

Hi, Facebook and Picasa are importing features, it means, all the information are stored in Facebook or Picasa server, while importing all information will be downloaded from the server and the old one will be replaced.
